The artist under the spotlight: Roni Roduner

We are pleased to introduce you the work of a Swiss artist, Roni Roduner.

Roni Roduner was born in Altstätten, Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 1944. He lives and works in Arzo, Ticino, Switzerland. Being an architect by training and profession, he developed his art since 2003 through the “b.b.” (the “black bodies”). On white canvases, he expresses his vision of the world, with patience and precision, drawing thousands of lines with a pencil or black acrylic, with a tiny brush. It creates shape, geometry, a contrast between full and empty, white and black. He makes his works in straight lines and curves of the architecture but also of nature.

The artist under the spotlight: Rossano Liberatore

We are pleased to introduce you the work of a italian artist, Rossano Liberatore.

Rossano works between figuration and abstraction, visible and hidden. The eye sees and perceives an art piece, a little dark. Then the eye moves, however, on a point of light, a touch of color. The artist and the art work do not impose anything, the viewer is free to think, to interpret. But then, if he wishes, he turns the canvas, and another dimension appears, real, sensitive. The canvas itself, its material carry a supplement of soul. In a box hidden at his grandmother’ house, he found some sheets, in places he restaured, he found old fabrics. He gave them a second life in his art pieces, using them as the basis for the work.
